Step by step on the new charm

As it has become a yearly custom for us, we have begun the creation of the good luck charm that will represent the year to come with many ideas and a lot of energy. Designing a piece of jewelry, which will function as an ideogram, embosoming something more than its image, is always very demanding and complicated. Many ideas were laid on our “creative table”, some were greeted enthusiastically, others were discarded, and few were chosen. In the end, only one prevailed, as it happens every year. This idea, which reflects the condensation and taste of the past year, while functioning as a catalyst, allows us to wish to our loved ones the most original and warm wishes for the year to come. I believe that in hand made jewellery, the idea that accompanies it, from its genesis to its materialization, is what transcends its creator as much as its final owner. This is the reason why this year, I wanted to share with you every stage of the creation of the 2011 lucky charm.
